Cue Collection Tips Update
To facilitate avid 8 Ball Pool cue collectors, the new update now conveniently informs players where they can find specific cues and how to unlock the cue. This shows on each cue in the menu and it’ll highlight specific instances of where to find the cue.
For example, as shown in the above image, it’ll highlight if the 8 Ball Pool cue can be found in the Treasure Box, Flashback Box, Collector Boxes, Pool Pass, or from other sources. When certain 8 Ball Pool cues are updated and moved to a different source, this button will also update to the most recent location to find the cue.
This makes it much easier to understand where you can find 8 Ball Pool Cue pieces so if you’re keen on collecting a specific cue, you can concentrate on the sources for the 8 Ball Pool cue rather than blindly looking for it in other Box types.
Cue Categories
Besides the latest change to Cue Collection tips, you’ll also notice new Cue Category tages located on specific cues. Here you’ll be able to filter out and separate cues in different categories depending on what you’re looking for. Here are the new 8 Ball Pool cue categories in the game –
- Treasure Basic, Expert, Advanced: Cues obtained from Treasure Boxes
- Collector Basic, Expert, Advanced – Cues obtained from Collector Boxes
- Pool Pass – Cues that are first obtained as a free Pool Pass prize
- Pool Pass Premium – Cues that are first obtained as a Premium Pool Pass prize
- Win Streak – Cues obtained from Win Streak events
- Animated – Cues that have appearances that animate when fully upgraded
- Evolving – Cues that have appearance changes when upgraded
- Event Exclusive – Cues that are obtained from special events
- Special Offers – Cues obtained from promotional deals
- Standard – All other types of Cues that are not categorized in one of the above categories. This also applies to cues earned from Tournaments
